1. Scope of Services
APG Painting Group PTY LTD (ABN 63 635 070 898) provides professional painting and related services as described in individual project quotes. Services include but are not limited to interior painting, exterior painting, surface preparation, repairs, and specialty finishes.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on site inspection and information provided by the client. Variations to the agreed scope of work may result in additional charges, which will be communicated before proceeding. Final pricing includes materials, labor, and standard cleanup unless otherwise specified.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in individual project quotes. Typical arrangements include a deposit upon acceptance of quote and final payment upon completion. Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, credit card, and cash. Outstanding balances may incur interest charges as permitted by law.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide clear access to work areas, remove valuables and fragile items, and inform us of any hazards or special requirements. Clients are responsible for securing pets during work hours. Any delays caused by lack of access may result in rescheduling charges.
5. Materials and Workmanship
We use quality materials suitable for each project. Specific brands or products can be requested and will be confirmed in the quote. We guarantee our workmanship and will rectify any defects arising from our work within the warranty period specified in your quote.
6. Variations and Additional Work
Any variations or additional work requested after quote acceptance will be documented and priced separately. We will obtain approval before proceeding with variations. Emergency repairs or structural issues discovered during work will be communicated immediately.
7. Warranty and Exclusions
We provide warranties on workmanship as specified in individual quotes. Warranties do not cover damage from external factors, improper maintenance, or alterations by others. Paint manufacturers' warranties apply to product performance. Claims must be made in writing during the warranty period.
8. Insurance and Liability
We carry public liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of work performed. We are not responsible for damage to items not removed from work areas or for pre-existing conditions not identified during inspection.
9. Cancellations and Delays
Clients may cancel projects with written notice. Cancellation fees may apply based on work completed and materials purchased. We reserve the right to delay or reschedule work due to weather, site conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. We will provide reasonable notice of delays.
10. Disputes and Resolution
Any disputes should be raised in writing within 7 days of project completion. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably. If resolution cannot be reached, parties agree to mediation before pursuing legal action. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
